Apple Celebrates the 2024 App Store Award Winners
Apple recognizes the year’s top apps and games, honoring 17 outstanding developers for their exceptional experiences on the App Store.
CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA – Today, Apple announced the winners of the 2024 App Store Awards, celebrating 17 remarkable apps and games that have inspired creativity, supported personal achievements, and enhanced moments with loved ones. This year’s awardees have crafted innovative experiences that positively influenced users’ lives and made cultural impacts globally. Selected from a competitive pool of 45 finalists by App Store Editors, these winners exemplified the highest standards in user experience, design, and innovation.

Kino invites users to explore cinematic experiences with film-inspired filters and sophisticated controls. Moises empowers musicians on iPad with advanced AI tools, while Lightroom stands out on Mac for its powerful photo editing features. Lumy on Apple Watch assists users in discovering the beauty of daily sunlight patterns, and F1 TV offers an immersive viewing experience for racing fans at home.
In the gaming arena, AFK Journey provides iPhone players with action-packed tactical adventures and engaging storylines. Squad Busters mixes competition with enjoyably spirited multiplayer gameplay, while Thank Goodness You’re Here! delivers humor with its playful skits. Additionally, Balatro+ on Apple Arcade redefines the traditional card game experience with innovative mechanics.
This year marked the first winners in the Apple Vision Pro category, highlighting cutting-edge advancements in spatial computing with immersive and intuitive experiences. What If…? An Immersive Story takes users on a journey through the Marvel Universe filled with endless possibilities, and THRASHER: Arcade Odyssey transports players to vibrant, cosmic realms.
