Apple Music has introduced three new live-hosted radio stations: Apple Musica Uno, Apple Music Club, and Apple Music Chill.
According to Apple’s announcement on Tuesday, music enthusiasts can now enjoy these new stations for free, without needing a subscription. Similar to Apple’s existing live-hosted stations, these new offerings will feature music experts and artists from all over the world.
Zane Lowe, Apple Music’s global creative director and lead anchor for Apple Music 1, emphasized the importance of music in our lives and highlighted how Apple Music Radio provides a constant source of music tailored to individual tastes. He expressed enthusiasm about expanding this experience globally with the introduction of three new stations.
Apple Musica Uno is the new global Latin music station, featuring hot hits from genres like Musica Mexicana, Latin Pop, and tropical music. The station’s launch will kick off with Bad Bunny’s latest release, “EL CLUB,” and will be hosted by chart-topping artist Becky G.
Apple Music Club is designed for fans of dance and electronica music, offering mixes from innovative DJs worldwide. Hosts Tim Sweeney and NAINA will curate sets from renowned events like Circoloco and Tomorrowland, and the station’s debut track will be “Big Fun” by Inner City.
For a more relaxed listening experience, Apple Music Chill is the perfect choice. This station will feature mood-setting music from various genres, along with “mindful moments” to promote relaxation. Hosts Brian Eno, Stephan Moccio, and Zane Lowe will guide listeners through the music, with Apple Music’s Sabi as the station guide. The first song on Apple Music Chill will be an exclusive premiere of Beck’s rendition of George Harrison’s “Be Here Now.”
Listeners can access these new stations on various devices, including iPhone, iPad, CarPlay, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Mac, HomePod, and through the web at music.apple.com. Apple also recently rebranded Beats 1 to Apple Music 1 and introduced Apple Music Hits and Apple Music Country in 2020.
