Starting today, Apple Maps enhances the experience for users seeking top-rated restaurants, hotels, golf courses, and more by incorporating expert rankings and insights. Users can now search for MICHELIN-starred, Green Star, and Bib Gourmand restaurants, as well as MICHELIN Key hotels, beginning in the U.S., with plans to expand to additional regions soon. Upcoming features will include insights from The Infatuation and Golf Digest, among other expert sources.
This update provides place cards with notable distinctions, descriptions, and images from trusted sources. Additionally, users will soon be able to book select hotels directly through Maps, and make restaurant reservations via MICHELIN and tee time bookings through Supreme Golf will follow shortly.
