Apple Books 20204 Year in Review and collections
Apple Books users can now access the 2024 Year in Review, which gathers all reading data into an engaging slideshow similar to Spotify Wrapped.
December is here, and with it comes the trend of apps and services sharing year-in-review content on social media. Apple joins in by providing Apple Music Replay all year round, and now the Apple Books review is ready.
To view your Apple Books Year in Review, simply open the app and tap the green “Year in Review” icon under the “Top Picks” category.
The brief slideshow will display the number of books and audiobooks read in 2024. Highlights include total minutes spent in the Books app, the longest book read, most read genre, completion of a series, most read author, and reading trends.
Apple Books adds a bit of gamification to reading with customizable reading goals and tracking minutes read. Meeting your reading goal can lead to creating a streak.
As the Apple Books app also functions as a store, it offers recommendations from editors. Head to the Book Store tab for collections of books selected by editors, top charts, and more from throughout 2024.
