Functional Apple-1 pulls in $375k at recent auction

A working Apple-1 fetched $375,000 at the recent RR Auction’s “Steve Jobs and the Apple Revolution” event, where other items also sold well.

With over 200 Apple- and Jobs-related items in the auction, a fully functional Apple-1 with the original manual stood out, selling for the expected $375,000.

Additional notable items included an Apple/Bandai Pippin EVT Prototype which went for $4,038, and a sealed first-generation iPhone 4GB which fetched $87,514. Two checks also sold for $112,054.

In recent years, functional Apple-1 units have sold for significant sums, showcasing the lasting appeal of vintage Apple products.

Another auction featuring rare Apple items, including an autographed 1983 Apple Computer business card by Steve Jobs, brought in over $100,000.
