Tigo Ghana Ltd., operators of mobile telecom network Tigo has opened its first ultra-modern customers care centre in Takoradi in the Western region. The opening forms part of the network giant’s effort to deepen its relations with its customers by bringing customer care operations closer to the people.
The centre is the third in the series of experience centres the network operator has opened across the country and it intends opening more in the coming months.
The occasion saw in attendance officials of Tigo including the Head of Marketing, Jesse Agyepong, and the Head of Mobile Financial Services Selorm Adadevor among others. It also witnessed a high-powered delegation from the Essikado Traditional area whose Paramount Chief, Nana Kobina Nketsia V chaired the function.
Speaking on Tigo’s move to set up its ultra-modern customer care centre in Takoradi, Nana Kobina Nketsia V commended the network operator on its decision to make its services easily accessible to the people of the Western region, and specifically, Takoradi. He encouraged other corporate bodies to emulate the good gesture of Tigo by also opening their outlets in the metropolis to make doing business in the city comfortable for its inhabitants.
Stephen Essien, head of customer operations at Tigo, in his speech during the opening revealed Tigo’s decision to embark on a mission to create value for its customers and constantly delivering unmatched customer experience.
He added that this is aimed at creating an effortless way for customers of Tigo when doing business with the network giant. Stephen mentioned that Tigo’s decision to relocate its office from the Harbour area to the Market Circle area was to bring its services closer to the heart of the city. He encouraged people to feel free to walk in anytime to transact business with Tigo in their new offices.
The centre, located at Takoradi’s Market Circle provides a spacious and comfortable environment where customers can seek the assistance of Tigo’s well-trained customer care executives and access a wide array of mobile devices on sale at the centre.
As a fully-functional experience centre, Tigo’s dedicated corporate customer care executives are also on standby to advise corporate clients of the network on all their communication needs and solutions. Besides all the convenience and comfort customers of Tigo stand to benefit with the commissioning of this new centre, the icing on the cake comes in the form of a free wireless connectivity for anyone who visits the centre for business. This, in addition to offering customers more benefits, is also aimed at making internet connectivity easily accessible for Ghanaians.
