iCloud users experience unexpected outage on June 24, 2025.

Some users are facing challenges with iCloud services due to a current outage.

Apple’s iCloud services are currently experiencing an outage, affecting users’ access to iCloud Mail, Photos, and the iWork app suite.

On Tuesday, iCloud Mail users reported difficulties accessing the service, with several facing issues even after they regained access.

According to Apple’s System Status page, the outage affecting iCloud Mail, iCloud Web Apps, iCloud Storage Upgrades, Photos, and iWork integration began at 2:36 PM ET. An additional issue at 3:57 PM impacted the Find My service, which helps users locate their Apple devices.

Apple’s website indicates that many users were unable to use the affected services, with the issue being resolved around 7 PM ET.

Earlier on June 24, a separate outage had affected Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager, and Apple School Manager, although those issues have since been resolved.

Outages in Apple’s online services occasionally occur and can be particularly inconvenient. There have been instances where multiple issues arose in rapid succession. Similar problems with iCloud Mail and iCloud Web Apps were reported in 2024, alongside a recent Apple Intelligence outage in June 2025.

Updated June 24, 7:47 p.m. EST: Apple’s status page confirms that the outage was resolved around 7 p.m. EST.
