Samsung has resumed the rollout of the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 lineup after pausing it due to a bug that locked owners out of their devices. The new build, labeled as version S928NKSU4BYD9, is now being released in South Korea and is expected to be available globally soon. Following this, the update will be rolled out to Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.
The rollout of One UI 7 has been challenging for Samsung, with delays causing the upgrade to Android 15 to be completed well after the release of Android 16 by Google. Despite this, work on One UI 8 has already begun and is being previewed on devices. It’s an interesting time for those interested in software updates, but likely a busy period for Samsung software engineers.
