WWDC25 Will Be Offered Online and Free for All Developers
CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA — Apple has revealed that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place online from June 9 to 13, 2025. Additionally, developers and students are invited to an in-person celebration at Apple Park on June 9.
The conference will be free for all developers, focusing on the latest updates in Apple software. As part of its commitment to developer support, Apple will provide exclusive access to its experts and offer insights into new tools, frameworks, and features.
“We are thrilled to celebrate another amazing year of WWDC alongside our global developer community,” stated Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “We’re eager to unveil the newest tools and technologies that will empower developers to continue their innovation journey.”
Developers and students can learn about the latest Apple innovations by tuning into the Keynote. The WWDC25 experience will be available throughout the week via the Apple Developer app, Apple Developer website, and Apple Developer YouTube channel, featuring video sessions and chances to interact with Apple engineers and designers in online labs.
To kick off WWDC, Apple will host a special in-person event on June 9, where developers can watch the Keynote and Platforms State of the Union at Apple Park, engage with Apple experts in one-on-one and group labs, and participate in unique activities. Space will be limited; further application details can be found on the WWDC25 website.
Apple is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of developers through initiatives such as the Swift Student Challenge, alongside other programs aimed at promoting young entrepreneurs, coders, and designers. Applicants will be notified of their status on March 27, with winners given the opportunity to attend the special event at Apple Park. Additionally, 50 Distinguished Winners will be acknowledged for their exemplary submissions and invited to a three-day experience in Cupertino, California.
More information about the conference will be shared leading up to WWDC25 via the Apple Developer app and the WWDC25 website.
