Apple has released the seventh developer beta of macOS Sequoia 15.1, following the launch of other operating systems.

On Monday, Apple rolled out new developer betas for testers to try, including iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1 with Apple Intelligence. Although macOS was initially missing, it is now available for testing.

The seventh developer beta of macOS Sequoia 15.1 comes after the sixth, which was released on October 7.

The highlight of macOS Sequoia 15.1 is Apple Intelligence, which introduces generative AI features to the operating systems. The first point release of macOS is expected to include writing tools, Clean Up for Photos, and various Siri enhancements.

The final release of version 15.1 is anticipated to arrive by October 28.

AppleInsider and Apple recommend that users refrain from installing test operating systems or beta software on critical hardware, as there is a small chance of data loss. Testers should use secondary devices and ensure they have backups of important data.
