Samsung’s One UI 7 is not expected to enter beta testing until the end of this year, according to updated information.

Google rolled out Android 15 in preview and beta versions throughout 2024 before officially releasing it to AOSP in early September. Although the update was not immediately available for Pixel phones, Google indicated that it would be released in the “coming weeks,” likely in October. However, Samsung’s plans for Android 15 with One UI 7 remained uncertain. Despite rumors of a potential delay in August, as of October, there has been no official announcement from Samsung.

Recently, Samsung confirmed a significant delay in the release of Android 15 and One UI 7. They announced at their developer conference, SDC24, that the One UI 7 beta would be available for developers before the end of the year, without specifying a timeline for general release on devices like the Galaxy S24 or Galaxy Z Fold 6.

During SDC24, Samsung provided a preview of One UI 7, emphasizing its user experience design and integration of Galaxy AI features into daily activities. They also revealed that the official version of One UI 7 won’t be released until 2025 with the Galaxy S25 Series.
