This is a service that allows eligible customers to request for data credit when their data bundles are exhausted, out of airtime or in case of unsuccessful subscription bundle activation due to low balance

You need to have been a loyal and consistent subscriber on Glo for at least 3 months and have a good usage history.
3. How do I apply for the service?
You can borrow online or by dialing *321#. A prompt will be sent to you to confirm it.
4. How do I borrow data credit?
You can borrow data online on the Glo website or by dialing *321#, this will provide you with the amounts you are eligible to borrow.
5. Can I call other Networks with the Borrow Me Data?
No, The service will provide data credit on loan for browsing and downloading.
6. Can I make international calls with the Borrow Me Credit?
No, The service will provide data credit on loan for browsing and downloading.
7. Can I use my Borrow me data to browse the Internet?
Yes you can.
8. I dialed *321# but got no response.
We would encourage you to try making the request once again. There is likelihood that there may be many requests on the system and or temporary system downtime.
9. I applied for Borrow me data but got a message informing me that I am not eligible.
This may happen for 2 reasons:-
• You may have just joined the network recently thus not meeting the minimum age in network of 4 months. Please check the terms and conditions for more information.
• You may have an unpaid Loan. You must settle this first before applying again.
10. I applied for the Borrow me data long ago yet it was deducted this week.
This could be due to delay in our system getting recharge notifications from the network. Our system is designed to recover airtime as soon as it gets notified of your reload, and if there are delays in such notifications it could result in delay in deduction after any one of your reloads.
11. What happens if I receive airtime through ME2U and I have a taken a loan?
The amount will be recovered. Any transaction that credits the main account triggers a recovery if the subscriber has a loan.
12. What happens if I don’t repay my loan after 72 hours?
You will not be able to access the Service until you pay back the entire amount owed and it will adversely affect your credit rating which is important for qualifying for higher amounts in future.
13. What minimum balance should I have in my account to successfully apply for Borrow me data Service?
You can qualify for this product with any balance in your main account.
14. I was charged for N575 on N500 data loan, why?
The amount charged is a 15% transaction fee for borrow me data service.
15. Can I borrow more than once without repaying the first loan?
No, you must first repay the first loan before being eligible for another.
16. I borrowed N500 data and I had N1000 in my account prior and I have not reloaded since, at what point do you start deducting from the remaining balance?
Deduction will begin from the borrower’s main account 72 hours after Borrow Me Data service
17. What happens to my Borrow me data in the event I replace my SIM card?
Your Borrow me data service remains intact and will be accessible as soon as you replace your SIM card as long as the grace period has not expired, which is currently at 72 hours.
