Android’s theft protection feature and remote lock functionality is now being gradually rolled out to users.

Google announced Theft Protection features at Google I/O, which are now rolling out to Android devices. The features include Theft Detection Lock, Offline Device Lock, and Remote Lock to protect your device if it is stolen. Theft Protection uses built-in safeguards and Google AI to lock your device in case of theft or when it goes offline. The Remote Lock feature allows you to lock your screen using a phone number.
