Circle’s search function has been enhanced with the addition of an “About This Image” feature.

Google is constantly adding new features to Circle to Search, and the latest addition is “About this image.” This feature provides users with more information about an image they come across while browsing on their device.

Now available on both Circle to Search and Google Lens, users can use this feature to learn more about an image by circling it and then swiping up on the results screen. This will reveal an option for “About this image,” which when tapped, will provide context such as how sources are describing the image, metadata about the image, and whether the image is real or created with AI.

The “About this image” feature is currently offered in 40 languages worldwide and is compatible with select devices like the latest Samsung and Pixel phones, foldables, and tablets.
